New Roof Construction & Installation

There is no licensing requirement for roofing in the State of Texas. In an attempt to legitimize our industry, the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas has set forth a certification program and Texas Star Roofing is certified for both residential and commercial. We maintain that certification by completing continuing education credits and adhering to RCAT’s requirements including insurance. We feel the more professional our organization is, and the better educated we are, the more our customers benefit from doing business with us.

Texas Star Roofing employs the services of only in-house crews. We never hire transient storm chasing crews. Our crews are experienced and trained to install the roofs we sell. Our crews are responsible for the labor portion of our warranty and know they will be required to repair any leaks under that warranty. This gives them incentive to do a good job the first time so they won’t have to come back on their own time to correct a problem. The storm chasers will be long gone before most leaks become apparent. Our sales staff will also visit the job during the new roof construction, and do a final inspection when the job is complete. We feel that two sets of eyes are always better than one.

We are a ShingleMaster company with Certainteed. In order to be certified, our foreman and our sales staff must pass the Certainteed Shingle Applicator’s Manual test. We are a Preferred Contractor for Owens Corning, again being tested, and we have sent crews to training courses conducted by Gerard and are a certified contractor for them. We also have been to training sessions for TAMKO Metalworks. We’ve done everything in our power in ensure that your new roof construction and installation is at or above current industry standards.
