Recycled Roofing Materials
Did you know that Texas Star Roofing recycles torn-off shingles in order to lessen the burden on our landfills and utilize reusable materials for road repairs? In addition to helping to reduce waste, our team utilizes recycled materials and turns them into a brand new roof installation. These roofs have also been thought to help reduce the formation of ground -level ozone and smog at the same great quality of traditional roofing materials.
Cool Roofs
A cool roof is an environmentally-friendly roofing option in which the roof is designed to reflect more light from the sun, and absorb less heat than a traditional roof. For our hot climate here in Texas, white cool roofs work the best, as they conduct less heat into the interior of the home, helping to keep you keep cool indoors.
