Texas Star Roofing has been a family-run company since 1997, working out of one office at 1000 18th Place in Plano. We are fully licensed and insured, RCAT-certified, and have held an A+ BBB rating for more than a decade.


Our crews cover Collin, Dallas, Denton, Rockwall and Tarrant counties. That footprint is deliberate, and we have kept it tight on purpose. Staying inside it is what lets us get to a roof leak the same week, walk a job twice before the first shingle comes off, and come back a year later when a homeowner has a question. Collin County

Collin County is where most of our work has always been, and it covers the full range — Plano neighborhoods like Willow Bend, Deerfield and Whiffletree where whole streets were roofed in the same few years and are now facing the repair-or-replace decision together, and Prosper and Frisco communities like Windsong Ranch, Star Trail, Phillips Creek Ranch and Hollyhock where the roofs are newer, the rooflines are more complicated, and HOA approval is part of every replacement. McKinney spans both, from the historic downtown square to Trinity Falls.

Dallas County

No two Dallas County jobs look alike. Preston Hollow estate rooflines, Lakewood's early-twentieth-century architecture, Oak Cliff's midcentury and Tudor homes mid-renovation, and Deep Ellum's converted warehouses on low-slope membrane all sit within the city limits. Around it, Richardson's established neighborhoods make this our most diagnostic market — the call is usually "find the leak," not "replace the roof" — and Carrollton mixes single-family blocks with retail and multifamily, so we run residential replacements and commercial reroofs in the same zip codes.

Denton County

Tree canopy does as much damage in Denton County as weather does. Flower Mound is the clearest example — Bridlewood's golf-course lots and Wellington's trails near Grapevine Lake sit under mature growth, and overhanging limbs, trapped debris and clogged valleys drive a lot of the repair work, while newer construction out at Canyon Falls has the opposite problem entirely. Lake-adjacent communities add a moisture and ventilation angle that inland neighborhoods don't deal with.

Tarrant County

Tarrant County is our most appearance-driven market. Southlake neighborhoods like Timarron, Carillon and Stone Lakes are full of custom and estate homes where the roof is a design element as much as a system — steep pitches, multiple dormers, and architectural shingle or copper detailing that has to be matched exactly, not approximately. The same holds through Westlake and Colleyville, and Grapevine adds older housing stock and a downtown commercial mix.

Lake Ray Hubbard changes the job. Chandlers Landing sits right on the water with its own marina, The Shores wraps a golf course, and Stone Creek sits back from the shoreline — and wind exposure, moisture and storm restoration needs vary noticeably across those three, sometimes within the same afternoon of a storm.
